I’ve been a nurse since 2000 and as a traditionally western medicine trained health care provider I had always been hesitant to venture into “alternative” healing methods.


I ended up walking in to my first yoga class in 2011 looking for additional ways to manage my stress and anxiety and little did I know how much it would literally change my life. It wasn’t until 2018 that I realized I wanted to share my love for yoga and decided to become certified as a yoga teacher.


I continue to work as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner and have been able to integrate my yoga and meditation practice with my day to day interaction with patients.
