Kris has been in the fitness industry for over 30 years and despite her busy life as a full-time working mom of four kids, she still makes sure that movement is always a part of her daily life routine. When it comes to yoga, her love for the practice began after years of intense cardio classes that led to injuries, which ultimately sparked her desire to heal through movement. As an instructor, her classes are traditional flow with a little extra strength and toning added in. She also loves to add in light weights, bands and whatever else she can find at the last minute for variety!

For Kris, yoga is a way to connect mind and body. This connection to the body as a whole, is what she focuses on every day as a naturopathic physician at Desert Wellness Center in Tempe, AZ. Her mantra is inspiration through knowledge whether that be guiding her patients to optimal health and healing or teaching a yoga class.
