Kelly D
Kelly discovered yoga while transitioning from training as a competitive gymnast to a coaching role in the sport. Initially, she was drawn to the strength and balance that the asanas brought to her workout. Eventually, she made the connection between breathing and meditation and the strength and balance they brought to her mindset. She began incorporating the eight limbs of yoga, not only into her personal practice, but also in her approach to teaching young athletes. Yoga helped Kelly to realize that accomplishments and titles do not determine who you are, but rather assist you on your journey to discover your true self.

2020 brought about big change for everyone and it propelled Kelly to deepen her knowledge by seeking her RYT 200-hour Yoga Alliance certification through Arizona Yoga Academy. In 2024 I received my Yin Certification.

Yoga has helped Kelly to find positive energy in the most challenging of times. Through her practice, she continues to grow while experiencing grief, anxiety and stress. Kelly enjoys teaching and connecting with others on their own journey. She dreams of sharing the yogic mindset with competitive athletes at a young age, to help them bring balance and confidence as they grow through their training. Yoga has also helped her be mindful of patience and intention while raising her three young children. When not coaching or doing yoga, Kelly enjoys the beauty of Arizona with her family while hiking, camping or discovering new coffee shops.
